Repair
and
Reconnect
Ọlọ́mọ Ló L'ayé offers a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals (OB/GYNs, nurses, nurse practitioners, midwives, traditional midwives, doulas, and family members invested in reproductive health) to engage in meaningful dialogue and cultivate a deeper understanding of indigenous birth practices through our program Repair and Reconnect. We travel to your location to facilitate this engagement and support communities seeking to reconnect with their ancestral roots.
Our goal is to help bridge the gap between modern healthcare and traditional practices, fostering a collaborative partnership between hospitals/clinics, traditional birth workers, and families. By promoting respectful communication and cultural competency, we aim to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.
