About the Role
We're seeking a creative and social media-savvy volunteer to join our team as a Content Creator for Olomo Lo Laye's social media platforms! As a Content Creator, you'll play a key role in developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that showcases our organization's mission, programs, and impact.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Develop high-quality content (posts, stories, graphics, videos, etc.) for Olomo Lo L'aye's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
Conduct research to stay up-to-date on relevant topics and trends in our field
Collaborate with our team to brainstorm ideas and ensure consistency in our messaging
Analyze engagement metrics and adjust content strategy accordingly
Manage and schedule content using social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer)
Requirements:
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Experience with social media management and content creation
Familiarity with graphic design and video editing software (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Passion for Olomo Lo L'aye's mission and values

About the Company
Olomo Lo L'aye is a non-profit organization dedicated to reclaiming and honoring ancestral, traditional, cultural, and spiritual birth practices. We aim to counterbalance the harm caused by over-medicalized Western approaches by promoting an egalitarian model of care.
